Because toddler feet grow fast and vary wildly, we highly recommend measuring your child’s foot before ordering rather than relying solely on their age.

Don't worry! We offer a 30-day return and exchange window. As long as the sock shoes are completely unworn, clean, unwashed, and still in their original packaging, you can send them back for an exchange or refund. Check out our Shipping & Returns page for the full details.

We pack and process orders within 1–2 business days. Once picked up by the courier, standard delivery typically takes 2–4 business days. Please allow an extra 1–2 days for rural addresses.

Currently, we only ship within New Zealand. We want to ensure our local Kiwi toddlers are covered first!

Because our stock sells out quickly, we process exchanges at the customer's risk. We cannot hold or reserve a size while your parcel is making its way back to us. If your requested size is still available when your package arrives, we will invoice you for the exchange shipping and send it right out. If it has sold out, we will automatically issue you a refund or store credit instead.

Customers are responsible for the courier costs to send the item back to us, as well as the shipping cost to have the new size sent back out. If an item is faulty or incorrect, Mini Waewae will cover all shipping costs in line with the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act.

Yes! We know how messy toddlers can be. To keep them looking their best, we recommend placing them inside a mesh laundry bag, using a gentle cold cycle, and letting them air dry in the shade. Avoid tumble drying or using harsh bleach.

Our sock shoes are designed with flexible, non-slip rubber soles which are perfect for indoor play, daycare, and light outdoor exploration (like dry grass, smooth pavement, or playground mats). However, to prevent premature wear and tear, we don't recommend wearing them on heavy gravel, rough gravel roads, or extremely wet surfaces.
